Middle School Track Team Shines with Record-Breaking Performances!The Sargent Middle School Track Team continues to impress with outstanding performances this season.
While there isn’t a complete archive of middle school track records, MileSplit has maintained records since 2013. At Saturday’s meet in Alamosa, Shae Romero delivered a standout performance, setting three new school records:

200m: 27.08

400m: 60.77
-
1600m: 5:41.59
In addition, our 800m Medley Relay Team — consisting of Sophia Mitchell, Paige Myers, Kenley Mitchell, and Shae Romero — remains undefeated this season. The team set a new school record with a blazing time of 2:03.63 at the Centauri meet two weeks ago.
To cap it all off, every athlete on the team earned at least one personal record (PR) at the Alamosa meet. We’re incredibly proud of these athletes for their dedication, hard work, and sportsmanship.
