Certified & Classified

  • Substitute Bus Drivers: Current Commercial Drivers License required; please complete non-certified application and submit with resume.
  • Substitute Teachers: Certified Substitute $150.00 daily, non-certified Substitute $130.00 daily rate; Teaching License or Authorization required; please complete certified application (transcripts not required) and submit with a copy of license/authorization.
  • Part-Time Elementary Custodian: Please complete the classified application and submit with resume. Salary starts at Step 1, $15.23/hour. The schedule is Monday-Friday from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Coaching

  • High School Track Coach:  For the 2025-2026 School Year, please complete the coaching application and submit with resume. Salary starts at Section 4 Step 0, $3,015.00 on the Extra Duty Salary Schedule.
  • High School Baseball Coach:  For the 2025-2026 School Year, please complete the coaching application and submit with resume. Salary starts at Section 4 Step 0, $3,015.00 on the Extra Duty Salary Schedule.
  • High School Head Football Coach: For the 2026 Season. Applications due no later than January 8, 2026. The Sangre de Cristo and Sargent School Districts are seeking a visionary and dedicated leader to serve as the Head Football Coach for our newly formed cooperative football program beginning in the Fall 2026 season. This co-op represents an exciting new chapter for both communities, and we are looking for a coach to build a unified team culture, foster academic excellence, and establish a competitive tradition.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Program Leadership: Direct all aspects of the cooperative football program from JV Level to Varsity, including the selection and supervision of assistant coaches.
    • Culture Building: Establish a unified team identity that integrates student-athletes from both districts while promoting sportsmanship and academic accountability.
    • Administrative Duties: Manage the program budget, equipment inventory, and travel logistics.
    • Communication: Maintain effective and timely communication with administrators, parents, and community members in both districts.
    • Community Engagement: Foster relationships with middle school programs to ensure a consistent developmental pipeline.

    Qualifications:
    • Experience: Previous successful coaching experience at the high school level or higher.
    • Certifications: Candidates must hold or be able to obtain:
    • Valid Colorado Teaching License or CHSAA Coaching Registration.
    • Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications.
    • NFHS Concussion and CHSAA annual coach’s exam certifications.
