Thank You to the Sargent Education Foundation 💛🖤

Sargent School District extends our sincere gratitude to the Sargent Education Foundation for their continued support of our students and staff through the Fall Mini Grants program. These grants make a direct impact in our classrooms by providing resources that inspire creativity, expand learning opportunities, and enrich the educational experience. This semester the foundation was able to fund over $3,200 in grant application requests.

We are proud to recognize the following teachers whose projects were awarded funding this fall:

  • Nathan Zimmerman – Colormeters for AP Lab
  • Jamie Behil – Books for students reading below grade level
  • Sarah Schaller – Basic sewing skills kits — Teaching students to acquire practical life skills through the Harvest Challenge
  • Stephanie McBartlett – Start-up Supplies and Hats for the New Student-Run Potato Patch Business
  • Terri Paulson –  Drama — Improving the functionality, accessibility, and preservation of costumes and accessories used in drama classes and school productions
  • Terri Paulson – Rockets — Purchasing model rockets for each student to assemble and launch as a hands-on, cross-curricular learning opportunity

On behalf of our teachers, staff, and students, thank you to the Sargent Education Foundation for your generosity and commitment to education. Your investment continues to strengthen our schools and community.
