Dear Food Service Management Companies,

Sargent School District RE33J, Mountain Valley School District RE1, and Moffat School District C2 are jointly issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a cost-reimbursable food service management contract to operate our Child Nutrition Programs for the 2026–2027 school year.

Please find attached the CDE-approved Request for Proposal and Contract document containing detailed instructions, specifications, site details, and budget information.

Key RFP & Timeline Details

Pre-Proposal Meeting & Site Visits: August 3, 2026, 11:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Locations:
  - Sargent School District: 7090 N CR 2 E, Monte Vista, CO 81144
  - Mountain Valley School District: 403 Pitkin Ave, Saguache, CO 81149
  - Moffat School District: 501 Garfield Ave, Moffat, CO 81143
- Note: Three back-to-back site visits (2 hours allocated per site including drive time).
Proposal Submission Deadline: August 17, 2026, by 12:00 PM
- Proposals must be submitted to the district locations marked “Food Service Management Proposal”.
Contract Effective Date: August 24, 2026 – June 30, 2027 (with options for four 1-year renewals).
